Boat tours will get you close to the shore to appreciate this spectacular sight. Sometimes you can be joined by wildlife including dolphins, whales and seals, and in May and June you will often see basking sharks, feeding on the plankton.
The tour lasts about one and a half hours, with the option to hire a boat privately. For those wanting to swim, wetsuits are provided for those that think the water is too cold. Operating from April to October (weather permitting) with a capacity to hold 24 passengers.
