The Sir Basil Brooke Suite at Lough Eske Castle Hotel is named for one of the castle’s earliest custodians, Sir Basil Brooke (circa 1567 - 1633). Lough Eske Castle remained in the Brook family until 1894, with Thomas Brooke building the castle as it stands today in 1861.
Located in the historic castle, the Sir Basil Brooke Suite offers 1,100 sq ft (102 sq m) of luxurious accommodation, on an ambassadorial scale. Situated at the front of the castle, the suite comprises a dual aspect bedroom, with bay window and ensuite bathroom, and large reception room with fireplace and solid stone surround and mantle, dining area and lounge.
